There were smiles all round when one of our police officers popped into visit youngsters during an Essential Services and Special Needs event yesterday.
Organised by the charity Little Smiles, the event aimed to build bridges between the most vulnerable youngsters and members of the essential services, who may deal with them.
The charity works with children aged 3 to 15 who have learning difficulties and disabilities.
Yesterday morning, PC Mike Heap joined the kids for a number of their activities, before showing them his police car and how he used the police radio.
Also in attendance during the week were Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service and the Gibraltar Ambulance Service.
