90 year old Charles Emmanuel MONTEGRIFFO appeared before the Supreme Court this morning and pleaded guilty to several counts of sexual offences against children.

The charges relate to offences that took place between 2016/17 and 2023/24, including two counts of Assault of a Child Under 13 by Penetration, four counts of Sexual Activity with a Child, and one count of Encouraging or Assisting a Child to Engage in Sexual Activity.

The matters were reported to the RGP in September 2024 resulting in MONTEGRIFFO being charged after an investigation by detectives from RGP’s Safeguarding Team.

The matter has been adjourned for sentencing on the 1st April 2026.
