British national Claire TREACY (25), of Midtown, Queensway, employed locally as a school teacher, has today been charged with five counts of “Sexual Activity with a child by a person in a position of trust.”
The charges follow her arrest in November 2020 by detectives from the RGP Safeguarding Team following a report made to police, and come at the end of an extensive investigation into activity she had reportedly engaged in with 2 separate victims (both of whom are now adults), on diverse dates between 2018 and 2020.
TREACY is due to appear before the Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning (Wednesday).
