A number of our officers were competing against their Spanish counterparts in the Torneo de la Inmaculada in La Linea today.
The annual sporting event saw the Guardia Civil, the Policia Local, the Policia Nacional and the Royal Gibraltar Police go head to head in football, paddle tennis and shooting.
Our RGP football team beat the Policia Nacional in the semis, but then lost out to the Guadia Civil in the final.
While Supt. Nolan Romero & Sgt Donovan Galia won against the Policia Local in the semis, but were defeated by the Policia Nacional in the finals.
Awards were then given out at a ceremony in the sports stadium afterwards with Mayor of La Linea Juan Franco.
