TRAFFIC ADVISORY: REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY

A number of temporary parking restrictions, road closures and traffic diversions will be in place between Saturday 7th November (evening) and Sunday 8 November 2026 (lunchtime), as part of the RGP’s policing and security operation for this year’s Ceremony of Remembrance at the Cross of Sacrifice. A shorter ceremonial event will follow at the American War Memorial at Orange Bastion.
This restrictions will apply at different times to Winston Churchill Avenue, Laguna Estate, Devil's Tower Road, Bayside Road and Line Wall Road.
Motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra travel time between 9:00am and 1:pm on Sunday 8th November 2026..
