Two cases of unlawful sexual conduct tried in court

Spanish national Christian Mohammed Caravaca Aguair 19, today pleaded not guilty to the charge of sexually assaulting a woman in a lift in Glacis Estate at the Gibraltar Magistrates Court.

Caravaca Aguiar of Glacis Estate, was remanded in custody and will be reappearing in court on November 6 2018.

He pleaded guilty to a separate charge of possession of 0.6 grammes of cannabis resin.

Meanwhile in an unrelated case also at the Magistrates Court, Michael James Owen 32, a second man arrested by the RG Police recently for unlawful sexual conduct, pleaded guilty to the charge of exposing his genitals in front of one woman with two children in the area of Europa Point.

Owen a British national of Atlantic Suites, was remanded in custody until November 20 when he will be reappearing in court for sentencing.

Stipendiary Magistrate Charles Pitto presided over proceedings.
