Jensen Duarte 32 the man accused of attempted murder has been found guilty of wounding with intent following a trial by jury at the Gibraltar Supreme Court earlier today.
Duarte of Edinburgh House has been remanded in custody until November 30 pending a pre-sentencing report.
The defendant had been arrested by the RG Police in November of last year following a violent brawl in the Waterport area with another man who required hospitalization.
The jury deliberated for ninety minutes before returning a guilty verdict.
Ricky Rhoda QC and Kerrin Drago appeared for the Crown while Chris Finch and Justin Rodriguez appeared for the defence.
Puisne Judge Karen Ramagge-Prescott presided over the trial.
