21-year-old UK national Eric BARROW-URQUIZA, a resident of Peninsular Heights, has been charged with one count of Possession of an article with a blade in a public place.

The charge follows his arrest on Friday afternoon by RGP Armed Response Officers, who had challenged and detained him at Line Wall Road for a search. This was as a result of information received from the public suggesting he was in possession of a bladed weapon. The search resulted in the seizure of a knife.

BARROW-URQUIZA was conveyed to New Mole House where he was interviewed and later charged with the offence. He will be appearing before the Magistrates' Court on Monday 18th August 2025
