In connection with the episcopal ordination of Monsignor Charles Azzopardi as Bishop of Gibraltar, which is scheduled to take place on Sunday 7th December 2025 at the Victoria Stadium, a number of parking restrictions and temporary traffic diversions will be implemented as part of the wider policing and security operation for this event.

Parking Restrictions

(from 10:00pm Saturday 6th December 2025 until 5:00pm Sunday 7th December 2025)

• Victoria Stadium – The area of the former Victoria Stadium car park located by the airfield runway’s south barrier will be subject to parking restrictions, demarcated by signage.

• World Trade Centre (Bayside Road) – Parking will not be permitted in the area between the World Trade Centre (inc loading/unloading bay) and the Tercentenary Sports Hall, up to and including the former MUGA bar, as demarcated by signage.

• Marina Bay – Public parking bays at this location will be subject to parking restrictions.

Road Closures

(from 8:00am until 3:00pm on Sunday 7th December 2025)

• Bayside Road – Access through this road will only be possible for residents of Tradewinds and Marina Bay.
