Counter Terrorism

The threat from terrorism is real and serious, and in recent years we have witnessed how terrorists can strike at any time and any place without warning. The Royal Gibraltar Police is the lead authority charged with protecting the City of Gibraltar; however, we do this in partnership with various stakeholders locally and internationally, ranging from local Government departments, Essential Services and Industry, to Law Enforcement and Intelligence Community partners further afield.

A strong community can defeat terrorism, and we therefore rely on help and support from our residents and business community. Find out more on the links below to learn about some of what we do to keep Gibraltar safe, how to spot possible terrorist activity and how to report anything suspicious that you may have seen or heard.
