Christopher Wink, a 20 year old local man, was arrested yesterday at Laguna Estate on theft related offences.
Following a report from a member of the public to the effect that a male individual was attempting to break into their vehicle officers deployed to Laguna Estate. Following a chase on foot officers arrested Wink on suspicion of Tampering with a motor vehicle, going equipped for theft and obstructing police.
He was later interviewed under caution and has been charged with:
Bail was refused and he was detained in police custody pending his court appearance today.
