Four persons have appeared before the Magistrates’ Court charged with a number of Public Order offences. 

The charges follow multiple reports received from members of the public on Saturday 10^th January 2026, regarding a violent altercation involving several persons and reported use of weapons in the area of Calpe and Willis’ Road.

A 22 year old local man and a 16 year old local female were arrested at the scene of the incident on suspicion of Affray, with the female juvenile additionally arrested for Assault on Police. 

A 42 year old local man and a 39 year old local female were arrested during the subsequent investigation into the same incident. 

At the conclusion of the investigation, officers from RGP Response Team 4 charged the individuals as follows: 

1. 22 year old Ben BROWN, of MacFarlane House, was charged with one count of Violent Disorder, and one count of Common Assault towards a member of the public.
2. The 16 year old female was charged with one count of Violent Disorder, three separate counts of Assault on Police, and one count of Common Assault towards a member of the public.
3. 42 year old Kyle GONZALEZ, of Anderson House, was charged with one count of Violent Disorder.
4. 39 year old Joelene GONZALEZ, of Anderson House, was charged with one count of Violent Disorder. 

Following their appearance before the Magistrates’ Court, the matter was been adjourned until Tuesday 19^th May 2026.
