18 year old Joseph DUO of Glacis Estate, 19 year old Kian PRATTS of Moorish Castle Estate and a 17 year old male juvenile, have been charged with the offences of Causing Grievous Bodily Harm with Intent & Carrying an Offensive Weapon in a Public.
The charges relate to an incident on the 19th February 2026, when Response Team officers responded to a report of an assault in progress in the area of Western Beach.
Upon arrival at the location, Response Team officers found a male juvenile suffering from multiple serious injuries to his face and body, whereupon an officer administered advanced first aid and stabilised the victim until the arrival of ambulance personnel.
The three individuals were arrested and subsequently charged following an extensive investigation by detectives from the RGP’s Criminal Investigation Department.
All 3 individuals are appearing before the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
