The Royal Gibraltar Police will be implementing a number of parking restrictions and traffic diversions, as part of the wider policing and security operation for the Three Kings Cavalcade on Monday 5th January 2026
Parking Restrictions
(from 10:00pm Sunday 4th January to 1:00am Tuesday 6th January 2026)
- Casemates Hill: Taxi Rank will be relocated to Line Wall Road opposite the Gib Oil Petrol Station.
- Line Wall Road (north): Parking bays located adjacent to the Gib Oil Petrol Station to facilitate the taxi rank.
- Zoca Flank: Subject to parking restrictions due to the road closure of Line Wall Road for this event.
- Cooperage Lane: Loading/Unloading bay at the rear of the ICC building.
- Crutchett’s Ramp: In its entirety.
- John Mackintosh Square & Cloister Ramp: Includes the Loading/Unloading bay outside the former Central Police Station and the Loading/Unloading bay outside the Beacon Press.
- Cannon Lane & Library Street: Loading/Unloading bays as well as the motorcycle parking area.
- Cathedral Square: Taxi Rank will be relocated to the Public Service Vehicle parking area located at Line Wall Road adjacent to the Bristol Hotel garden area.
- Line Wall Road (south): Public Service Vehicle parking area adjacent to the Bristol Hotel pool area will be subject to parking restrictions to accommodate the temporary Taxi Rank.
- Main Street (south), Convent Ramp, Town Range & King’s Yard Lane: All parking spaces at these locations.
- Line Wall Road (Lovers’ Lane): Parking spaces located at the rear of Ince’s Hall.
- Trafalgar Taxi Rank: Taxi Rank will be relocated to the parking area located outside SOHO.
- Trafalgar (SOHO): Parking area outside this location will be subject to parking restrictions to accommodate the temporary taxi rank.
- Bicycle/PLET racks located at Casemates Square will also be subject to restrictions

Diversions
Line Wall Road: From 6:00pm to 10:00pm on Monday 5th January 2026, Line Wall Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between the American War Memorial / Orange Bastion and Southport Gates. Vehicles exiting the Upper Town will be able to continue onto Line Wall Road until 6:30pm only.
Upper Town: Vehicles exiting the Upper Town between 6:30pm and 10:00pm on Monday 5th January 2026 will need to do so via Flat Bastion Road and Gardiner’s Road. Any vehicles travelling south from either Upper Town / Governor’s Street into Town Range during the times stated will be diverted south along Town Range towards Hargraves Parade and Prince Edward’s Road, from where they can proceed towards Flat Bastion Road. Appropriate signage will be positioned in these areas.
Public Service Vehicles – Temporary Arrangements
Taxi Ranks
Between 10:00pm on Sunday 4th January and 1:00am on Tuesday 6th January 2026, a number of taxi-ranks within the city-centre will be temporary relocated as follows:
- Casemates Hill Taxi Rank will be relocated to Line Wall Road opposite the Gib Oil Petrol Station.
- Cathedral Square Taxi Rank will be relocated to the Public Service Vehicle parking area located at Line Wall Road adjacent to the Bristol Hotel garden area.
- Trafalgar Taxi Rank: Taxi Rank will be relocated to the parking area located outside SOHO.
Public Bus Service
- The Public Bus Service will not operate via Line Wall Road between the hours of 6:00pm to and 10:00pm on Monday 5th January 2025.
