RGP officers arrested five men following a serious disturbance in the area of Watergardens last night. Four of these have been charged with offences related to the violent altercation.

They are Anthony Hannon 27, a UK national resident in Gibraltar who has been charged with damaging & destroying property and violent disorder; Anthony Monday 56, a UK national resident in Gibraltar, charged with violent disorder; Gary Pettiford 37, a UK national resident in Spain, charged with violent disorder and obstructing police; Buster Dearing 35, a UK national resident in Spain, charged with violent disorder and assault on police.

The four men have been granted police bail to appear in the Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

A fifth man, an 80 year old UK national also involved in the incident was conveyed to hospital and is currently under observation.

The RGP had to call Customs and GDP officers for assistance.
