The public should be aware that additional parking restrictions and road closures will be in place on Remembrance Day, 12 November 2023. 

The public should also be aware that after the ceremony at the British War Memorial, there will be a further ceremony at the American War Memorial at around 1230.??

Parking Restrictions

Multiple ‘No parking’ signs will be in place in the areas of Zoca Flank, the Bristol Hotel and Cathedral Square.  In particular, parking will be prohibited along Line Wall Road from Cathedral Square to Zoca Flank.

No bicycles are to be left along Line Wall Road or the Boulevard. Any bicycles found in these areas will be removed.

These restrictions will be in place until 1500hrs.

Road Closures

From 0800 – 1400hrs on 12 November, Line Wall Road will be closed from Casemates Hill roundabout to Cathedral Square.

Vehicles requiring access to City Mill Lane, Cornwall’s Lane and Governor’s Street will be diverted temporarily via Fish Market Lane, Cooperage Lane, Main St and Engineer Lane.

Reclamation Road will be closed to traffic from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, except for MidTown Residents.
